Update: I returned unannounced. To be honest, I will always come back for the coffee. They just do it so well. Ratings this time: Service 4/5 Food. 4/5 Coffee 5/5 I was hoping for better and overall they delivered. I appreciate they get busy at times. I also appreciate the effort this time around by The Shed team. ————————————————————————————— Shed Breakfast Review. Generally disappointed with this experience. It’s my go to spot for coffee in the mornings if I’m in the area, but my first time ordering food. Service 2/5 Food. 2/5 Coffee 5/5 I knew they had missed my food order because the server asked if I was waiting for food - even with my order number card was clearly visible on the table. When the food eventually came out, eggs on sourdough, there was no care in presentation, the poached eggs were shrivelled and looked like an after thought. Waiting over 1/2 hr for that was outrageous. The saving grace was the excellent 5-star

A lovely experience we came with a big group, mostly so the kids could enjoy the nearby playground, and decided to give this café a try for the first time. My group got the twisted avocado and the ottoman eggs, the kids ordered waffles, and pancakes—all were super tasty and full of flavours. the service was amazing as well as our waitress was so attentive, making sure we were all looked after even though it was pretty busy. she was quick to clear and set up the table, so we didn’t have to wait at all.

Very busy and great atmosphere. Staff is friendly and quick service. Food and coffee is good. Portion size is decent. Would recommend this place. I'll dine here again.

Fish and chips seemed like it was freshly cooked but the side salad had a strong apple cider dressing. Seating area is right next to the children's playground so it is very noisy.

I recently visited The Shed Cafe and had a wonderful experience. We tried The Shed Breakfast Plate and an almond croissant—both were fresh, delicious, and very satisfying. The oat milk coffees were fantastic! The oat milk added a nice creaminess that made the coffee smooth and tasty. The cafe has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the prices are very reasonable for the generous portion sizes. There’s also a kids’ play area nearby, which is perfect for families. Overall, The Shed Cafe is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to return!

The Shed at Edmonson Park is my go-to spot — their coffee is always on point, every single time. You can tell they care about consistency and quality. Even when the place is packed, they still manage to get every cup perfect. Special shout-out to Phung — absolute legend behind the machine. Always friendly, always spot on with the coffee. It’s rare to find a café that nails it every time, but this one does. Highly recommend if you want proper coffee made by people who know what they’re doing.

Lively service and ladies, deserve a review as i get my daily dose of nutella latte here, consistency of the coffee is spot on everytime not too strong or weak. Maybe the quality is good it always gets busy the with the queue, they open early.
